About the project

We worked with Norfolk Museums Service on the communications planning for the largest heritage project to open in the UK in 2025. Such a complex project had many challenges along the way as timings had to shift to accommodate new finds that were all part of the heritage journey. We helped the client to be adapt and be fleet of foot.

The project was funded by a substantial Heritage Fund grant, and a significant partnership with the British Museum that created a spectacular medieval gallery, showcasing over 900 medieval artefacts and treasures.

We had to work with stakeholders and the client to create a fluid PR programme across the lifespan of the project. This led to major coverage from BBC Radio 4’s Today programme and Front Row to the Telegraph and the Sun as one of the most spectacular palaces in medieval Europe fully reopened its doors.

The project was shortlisted in The Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2026.
